Teach your class all about using money to make totals. Children will use coins and notes to make the different totals shown on the piggy banks. They can use one single coin/note, 1p coins or different combinations of coins or notes. Fun hands-on learning for your continuous provision or maths groups.
Piggy bank activity cards are included for the following totals (in colour and b/w):
•1p-30p (make totals using 1p coins/count 2p coins in 2s/use different coins)
•35p, 40p, 45p, 50p, 60p, 70p, 80p, 90p, £1 (count 5p coins in 5s/10p coins in 10s/use different coins)
•£2-£10, £12, £14, £16, £18 (adding £1 or £2 coins, or different coins/notes)
•£15, £20, £25, £30, £35, £40, £45, £50, £60, £70, £80, £90, £100 (counting £5 notes in 5s/£10 notes in 10s/adding two notes)
That's a total of 17 colour pages and 17 black-and-white pages (4 activity cards per page)!
