Teach your class to compare the capacity of containers and to measure using non-standard measures.  Children can use water, sand, rice, marbles, etc. to find out which container holds more, and which holds less or to measure the capacity of different containers.  Fun hands-on learning for your continuous provision or maths groups!

•4 pages of recording sheets (differentiated)

 

Laminate the cards and display them or put them on a keyring for adults and children to use.
